Degree vs Diploma

who said that degree and diploma are different?? we are only can be differentiated by our uniform(depends on nursing schools). They're nothing difference between us...We are still being called a nursing students.. We are still needs to clean patient's buttock what? So, why you want to be so arrogant that you're studying in degree programme and for those studying diploma, why you want to feel very sad???
Whoever we are, we are still a nursing students and a future nurse to be. We need to be STRONG and POWERFUL enough to face all the upcoming challenges and obstacles in order to make our nursing profession be appreciated by public.
We need to make public and those arrogant person (medical staff) that we are capable of doing things. Patient's care is our responsibilities and our body of knowledge. We need NOT TO WORK FOR the doctor to implement patient's care but we NEED TO WORK TOGETHER with the doctor to plan for patient's care and implement it together....

Why today nurses are likely to be followers rather than be a partner with other health care personnel??? We nurses have knowledge, so why we want to be a trolley pusher, coffee maker or even doctor's follower??? Then, it is just a wasting of times of learning in nursing schools for 3 or even 4 years??? We don't need to go to school then if we just want to be FOLLOWER!!!!

Friends....please wake up... We must be like Florence Nightingale, Virginia Henderson and many more that had make nursing a well known to the eye of the public.

If u're studying in degree, then you should learn as if you're taking medicine, and if you're taking diploma you must learn as if you're taking degree... No matter who you are, you are still a nurse.....
